Anderson County Historical Commission Scholarship

$500.00 ~~~~ Awarded to an Anderson County high school Senior student for college expenses.

This scholarship was formerly the "James Neyland Scholarship" established in 1999. Mr. Neyland was a 1958 graduate of Palestine High School, and was active in ACHC and the Museum for East Texas Culture for many years. He wrote several books on Palestine history, which are available at ACHC.

Talk to your high school counselor to obtain information about this scholarship.
