Flaming red tree.... NOT at it's fullest!

A panoramic view from our house around to the point, on the right.
Lake level is down, showing tree trimmings, tree trunks, and other junk which is usually under water.
Jimmy Ray says it makes good homes for the fish!
Jimmy's boat is stranded behind this pier on what is now dry land!
Jimmy Ray takes advantage of the low lake level to build a new retaining wall with concrete blocks, to replace the older wooden wall.
Cousin Jimmy Ray looking down on his "stranded pier".
Great Egret enjoys what little water is left in the lake.
We have several of these Great Egret, and this area is one of their favorites.
Looking north back up the lake from our west deck.
Normally we can see no beach area along here.
Behind the yellow leaves in the first picture, is our floating dock, which is now surrounded by the beaver dam.
Our place from across the lake. Note floating dock with beaver dam to the right.
Our "floating" dock, with the beaver dam around it.
Several Great Blue Heron also call our little lake "home".
